Sensual Living
Building a Sensual Altar at Home
Candles, roses, crystals and pomegranates. How to create a sacred space that honors your body, your desire and your divine feminine energy.

A home for your pleasure
Beautiful soul, an altar is simply a place where you remember what's sacred. A sensual altar is a place where you remember that you are sacred, your body, your desire, your aliveness. Every time you walk past it, it whispers: you're allowed to feel good.
Choose your space
It can be a corner of your bedroom, a windowsill, a little shelf by your bath. Somewhere you'll see it every day. Clear it, clean it, and set an intention: "This is where I return to my pleasure."
Gather what awakens you
Engage every sense. Sight: a silk or velvet cloth in deep reds, plums or gold, fresh roses, an image of a goddess or art that moves you. Scent: rose, jasmine, sandalwood or ylang-ylang. Touch: rose quartz for self-love, carnelian for creative and sexual energy, a feather, a soft fabric.
Taste: a pomegranate, symbol of fertility and the divine feminine, or a piece of dark chocolate. Sound: a little bell or singing bowl. Choose vegan candles made from soy, coconut or rapeseed wax instead of beeswax.
Make it a living practice
Light your candle each morning or evening. Place a fresh flower there. Write your desires on little papers and tuck them under a crystal. Before a self-pleasure ritual, a bath or a date, pause there and breathe.
Let it change with you, with the seasons, with your cycle, with the moon. An altar isn't a decoration, love, it's a relationship. Krystal x
