Awakening to the New Cycle: The Rise of the Feminine and the Return to Balance

We’re in the middle of something monumental right now, and while it may feel like the world is unraveling, it’s not the end. It’s simply the next phase in a much larger cycle. The rise of the feminine—within all of us, not just women—is here, and it’s been prophesied in ancient teachings that this is the moment for harmony and balance to return to the world. (As my birth chart is almost all in Libra and Venus, it only seems natural that my path has led me to share about this!)

People often talk about the end of the world, but in spiritual teachings, especially the ancient ones, what we’re witnessing isn’t a final end. It’s a shift into a new phase. Take the Yuga cycles, for example. These are vast periods of time that come and go, each one carrying different qualities and lessons for humanity. Right now, we’re coming out of a dark age, a Kali Yuga, where the masculine has been dominant, leading to imbalance, destruction, and disconnection. But guess what? This isn’t the end. We’re on the cusp of entering into a new age—a Satya Yuga, a time of truth, where the feminine is rising and the energy of balance is being restored.

But this isn’t just about women—it’s about the return of the feminine energy within everyone, regardless of gender. This energy connects, nurtures, creates, and holds space for life to flourish. It’s the energy of intuition, creativity, love, and wisdom. And this energy has been suppressed for centuries, but now it’s rising, and we’re being called to embrace it fully.

Ancient prophecies—whether in Hinduism, the Mayan calendar, or the Egyptian mysteries—speak of this time, the time when the feminine energy would rise to restore balance. It’s not just a trend; it’s part of the natural cycle of humanity. The Earth herself (our Mother) has always carried this feminine essence, and as she heals, so do we. This is the time for humanity to step back into alignment with the earth, the cosmos, and our true selves.

For far too long, the masculine has dominated the systems we’ve built around us—governments, economies, and even societal structures—driven by greed and a focus on the individual. These systems have often been built on the idea of separation, where individuals, nations, and even religions are placed in opposition to one another. This excessive masculinity has resulted in wars, environmental destruction, and widespread inequality. It’s created systems that value profit over people and individual success over the health of the collective.

What we’re seeing now is the inevitable result of those systems, but it’s also the chance for us to course-correct, to reimagine what could be. For centuries, the wisdom of the feminine—the perspective of community, of compassion, of interconnectedness—has been overlooked. But many ancient civilizations, like those of the Indus Valley, ancient Egypt, and the Andean cultures, understood that a society’s strength lies in the harmony of the feminine and masculine energies. In these societies, women held positions of power, wisdom, and respect, not just as caretakers but as visionaries, leaders, and creators. Their voices shaped the laws, the culture, and the hearts of the people.

It’s not a coincidence that these civilizations were known for their harmony, their art, their deep connection to the earth. These were societies that knew how to live in balance with nature and with one another. Women in these civilizations were seen as key figures in shaping the collective good, guiding not just their families, but their communities and nations. Their leadership wasn’t about competition or dominance—it was about collaboration, nurturing, and ensuring the health of the whole.

We can learn so much from those societies. Women—and the feminine energy in all of us—naturally tend to see the bigger picture, the interconnectedness of life, and the importance of the community over the individual. The return of the feminine is a call for us to step back into that perspective, where we care for the planet, each other, and the generations to come.

So, what would a true utopia look like? Imagine a world where the feminine energy is not oppressed, where it’s not just tolerated, but celebrated. A world where the balance of giving and receiving is honored, where intuition is trusted, and where collaboration is the foundation of all that we do. A world where we honor the sacredness of life—each individual, each animal, each plant, each part of the Earth—where we respect the interconnectedness of all things. This is the vision that ancient spiritual teachings spoke of, and it’s the one that we’re actively co-creating right now.

The rise of the feminine doesn’t mean overpowering the masculine. It’s about balance, about the two energies coming together in harmony. It’s about allowing both to exist in their full expression. The feminine energy, after being suppressed for so long, is calling us back to unity, to honoring the sacredness in all things. And as we allow this energy to rise, we’re stepping into the next cycle of humanity—one that’s built on love, wisdom, and a deep, embodied connection to the Earth.

So, as we step into this new age, remember—it’s not about ignoring or running from the challenges we face today. It’s about understanding them as part of our sacred journey. You were birthed at this time on Earth for a deep purpose. We’re not starting over, we’re remembering. We’re remembering the wisdom of our ancestors, the balance they sought, and the energy that’s been lying dormant, waiting for us to tap into it, to awaken it, within and outside of ourselves. We are the ones who will create this new earth, this new world, and it starts by embracing the rise of the feminine in all of us.
